February 2006 Newsletter
Don't forget the Dance on 2/11, from 1-3 PM at the Masonic Hall on So. Meadow Rd. Plymouth. Your child should have chosen their special date and we look forward to seeing them and all of you. We have had a great response with an expected group of just under 200 people. We'd like to give a special thanks to our wonderful parent board for organizing and purchasing everything to make the day a great one. A huge thank you to our DJ, Glen Rizzuto, for donating his time and to Southeast Septic, Eric Meuller for paying for the hall ,Wayne DeMeo from Frozen Ropes and Jodi Murphy for the coffee from Mary Lous.
Donations are still needed for the silent auction if you have a service or can obtain one for us. We have had restaurants, Southeast Septic, and a hair salon to name a few. The money is used directly to fund other events for our families and children including Family Fun day in June and other events like an Easter egg hunt which is in the planning stages. The children will have the opportunity to purchase a carnation for their date @ $1.00 each and to purchase and decorate a frame for a digital picture provided by our photographer Jen Meuller. The cost of the picture and frame is $4.00 to cover supplies. Please use the form in your child's file to pre-pay and order your frames and flowers. See you Saturday.
All the information from our parent board and all our news items including pictures from Mrs. Francis taken at our Chinese outing last Friday, will soonn be available on our web site, cranberrycrossing.com. Please check it out and register your email to get updates.
If you need childcare information for your taxes, please give us 24 hour notice. No information will be provided over the telephone.
We have some new faces at Cranberry Crossing and would like to welcome, Billy Hill, Cameron Mestiera and Arianna Carchedi. Some of these children were referred by other parents who have earned a $25.00 childcare credit. Thank you!!
We have spoken to the landlord about the parking lot, and as he is having Nstar bring natural gas to the buildings, he is unable to make significant repairs at this time. He promises to have the holes fixed and repairs done by spring.
You may have noticed our toddler/3 yr assistant teacher Katelyn, wearing a ball cap this week. Katelyn has had some serious health issues and in respect for her privacy, we ask that you use discretion when speaking to her. We are happy to say that she is doing great and is able to continue her busy schedule both here and with her 2 little ones. Thank you.
Please note that we are closed on Monday 2/20. Be sure you have signed up for vacation week. The upstairs classroom is having a kid's choice week, so check out their calendar and note the day your child has the special show and tell day.
Valentine parties 2/13 & 2/14.
