Cranberry Crossing News – July 05
We hope your children are enjoying our summer camps. We have enjoyed their reactions to cooking and our reptile and snake visitors and participation in music, baseball and art. Dance is next week then theatre/circus, soccer, and gymnastics. The activities fees charged were to offset the expenses of our guests and additional items required enhancing the week’s curriculum. Thank you for your support.
The week of 8/29 will bring many changes as many of our children will be returning to or starting kindergarten. Attached please find a request for care. We ask that you fill this out as soon as possible in order to reserve your child’s space for the fall. Our new rates are also available and are posted on each bulletin board. One exciting change includes our extended hours which will be 6:30AM – 5:45PM Monday through Friday. Your choice of hours will determine your weekly rate and we have tried to keep the rates as close to the 04-05 rates as possible. Another change includes a 10% reduction on the registration fee per year to all families who have had continuous care. So if you have been with us 5 consecutive years – you’ll get a 50% discount on your re-registration fee. Be sure that if you are requesting a bus pick up or drop off at
Cranberry Crossing for your school age or kindergarten child, that you submit the request in writing to the principal of the Erwin K Washburn primary school. Please let us know the session your kindergarten child is assigned to a soon as possible. Also attached please find our new tuition contract which you should review and keep for your records. You will be asked to sign the acceptance page as soon as we have your request for care back.
Once again we are offering a credit of up to $50.00 for all referrals to Cranberry Crossing if the child registers for at least a school year contract.
On a sadder note, we are expressing sympathy to the Parson family on the loss of their 18-month-old daughter. Her older sister, Victoria is in Shonna and Keira’s class.
Also both happy and sad news from Shonna. On a very happy note – she is engaged to Billy Calhoun and very excited. Sadly though Shonna will be leaving us for a job at Blue Cross in Quincy and moving to the city. We know she’ll be very happy but we will miss her very much. August 10th will be Shonna’s last day with us.
