February 2012 Newsletter
We are getting past the dark and worst part of winter without much of a problem. J As you know we go outside every day and need every child to have a warm coat, hat and mittens or gloves, snow boots when the ground is wet.
We are closed on Monday Feb.20th and will not have classes for preschool only children (Grace, Courtney or Alora) that week. If your school age child will be here, please sign them up ASAP. We will plan some fun activities that week which may include a field trip to Frosty Dog for Mini golf for the older children.
Tax statements will be left in your child’s file with a 24-hour notice. Please do not call in for tax information, as the staff cannot give you that information.
This month and next month we will be holding our parent teacher conferences and would like you to send in a note with any questions or concerns.
All children have brought home “Pennies for Patients’ container and we would appreciate your help with this worthy cause. All money collected goes directly to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and will be collected through 2/17.
Please check your child’s class bulletin board or email from your child’s teacher regarding Valentines parties in their classrooms.
We are still offering a $50.00 referral fee for you. If any parent registers using your name, a $50.00 credit will be applied to your card within 30 days of the child’s enrollment.
Many children are coming in without a drink in their lunch box. All children must have a complete lunch. We offer snack twice a day and water as requested. If you prefer a half-gallon of milk can be left here for your child weekly. Also, if you take home your child’s rest items for washing or their extra clothing, please be sure something comes back the very next day.
Maddie Tucker, Bobbi’s granddaughter will be holding her annual community service bake sale for Breast Cancer. Maddie lost her grandmother, Nancy Tucker, to breast cancer and supports her family in their yearly breast cancer walk. She will hold the sale on Tuesday 2/21 in the front lobby of Cranberry Crossing. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
As you know most of our information to you is by email now. If you are not receiving things, you need, please let us know.
