March is in like a lamb and we love it. Make sure your child has outdoor clothing everyday and a complete change of indoor clothing. It is wonderful to get out.
Please become a fan of Cranberry Crossing on Face Book. It is wonderful to read all your posts and are glad that your family is so happy at Cranberry Crossing.
We will be holding our annual scholastic book fair in the next few weeks and will hide away any books you may choose for Easter. Each classroom will have a wish list of books which they can earn simply by your purchasing books for your child or by donation for your child’s class.
We will be preparing our bi-annual evaluations in the next few weeks and will be posting days and times during which you can make an appointment to meet with your child’s teacher. A copy of our new evaluation form will be given to you at the meeting and you are encouraged to share your concerns and ideas with us as we work towards the 2nd half of our school year.
Kindergarten registration at the GJC School will take place this week and next. If you need a copy of your child’s immunizations, please let Bobbi or Tina know.
Our parent board thanks you again for your generosity and attendance at our annual sweetheart dance. It was a huge success and we hope you enjoy the items you won and spending time with all the parents at the event.
These funds enable the parent board to hold events like our day at buttonwood Zoo on April 19th, assist with our June field trip on a pirate cruise and our end of the year Family fun day. They will also have an Easter Basket raffle and will send home all the information soon.
Lynne and Robin’s class are putting together their “Friends Book” It has about 60 pages and 30 covers. The children write something about their friends on each page and keep the book as they head off to Kindergarten. If you are able to copy some for us, please see Lynne as their copier won’t make it.
We may be planning another trip to Boston as the Disney on Ice trip was such a great time. It will be during April vacation and more information will follow.
Our Kickoff to kindergarten program is going well. We will repeat this program in the summer if you know of anyone who for whatever reason has not sent their child to preschool and would like a boost to prepare for Kindergarten next September.
Thank you for your referrals.
