January News

Many changes for the New Year are making things very exciting here. The three and four year olds love their new classroom and the day is going much smoother for everyone. We hope that you are happy with the changes we have put in place and invite you to discuss any concerns you may have with one of your child's teachers.

Our infants and toddlers have had a difficult few weeks with colds and a stomach bug. We realize how difficult it is for you to miss work, but if your child is to sick to spend the day here and may pass on germs to the other children and teachers, we ask that you give them a day at home to rest and get better. Thank You

The parent Board will be meeting on Thursday January 17 at 6:00 PM in the upstairs classroom. We invite everyone to attend. As you may have noticed they have been busy planning a trip to High School Musical on Ice - Sat. Feb. 16th - via school bus from Cranberry Crossing. There is a sign up sheet and envelope in each classroom. The cost is $33.00 including ticket and transportation. No infants will be allowed on the bus. They are also planning our annual Sweetheart Breakfast at Carver High School on Sat. Feb. 9th from 10-1:00. They will be sending info. to you regarding this and have posted information in each classroom. Keep the date and have your child think about the special date they would like to invite.

Our toddler teacher, Shonna's baby girl is due in March and so she will be working part time for the next several weeks. We are looking for her replacement now and hope that you and your child will be happy with our choice.

We are open Jan 21st but there is no preschool class as the public schools are closed on 1/21 and 1/22. Preschool will resume on 1/23.

Don't forget mittens, hats and warm jackets everyday. We love it outside, especially when it is 60 degrees in January!

Happy Winter
