April 2007 Newsletter
Welcome spring – We have a very busy month planned and hope you are able to participate in all the festivities. There is a calendar on the back of the newsletter in your child’s file, for April and May. More events are in the works for June – and we will send that calendar home soon.
If you are planning a family portrait on April 28th – Nelson’s Park, you must have an appointment and pre-pay a $10.00 sitting fee deposit. See Lynne upstairs.
If you are attending the Zoo on 4/16, please be sure we have your name and the number of people in your party.
Wednesday – April 25th join us at Friendly’s in Middleboro from 5-8 PM for a Cranberry Crossing parent board event. The board will receive a portion of your dinner purchase and the children will enjoy seeing each other.
The children upstairs will hold a Mothers day tea on Thursday – May 10th. We hope you or someone representing you will be able to attend.
We have sent home request for summer care and for next fall. We are asking for your input to our summer camp program and for our family fun day event. Please return the appropriate forms to the office at your earliest convenience.
Our pre-k and K classrooms are enjoying a multi-age setting and we hope your child has been very happy and successful this year. Remember, Kindergarten registration is coming up soon. The dates and times are in the Carver reporter. If you need a copy of your child’s most recent physical form, let Tina know. Lynne will be away celebrating her daughter Kristen’s marriage in Hawaii until 4/18. Robin, Jessica and Missy will be with the upstairs children. Congratulations to Jessica who is now teacher qualified.
Check out an alternative to sugary gummy-snacks. According to the dentist – your child should never eat fruit snacks. PJ+ fruits and veggies are a great alternative. Three a day for children provides 100% daily requirement of fruits and veggies – nothing artificial added.
