January 2006 Newsletter
Thank you to all the parents who left presents on my desk and to all of you who so generously surprised your child’s teacher with something nice. Also, a special thank you to Kaitlyn’s Aunt Beth, for her generosity and to the Madden family for our new DVD player. The children that are here all day enjoy a movie at the end of their day and we now can watch DVD’s! It has been a very busy holiday season and we hope yours was wonderful. The children enjoyed the visits from Santa, who took time from their busy schedules to be here for them (Thanks Chief Weston & Eddie O’Connor).
The Winter Wonderland has been postponed until February 11th from 1-3 PM, and will now be a Sweetheart Dance for all to enjoy. Jen Mueller, from our parent board is publishing a newsletter of her own with all the details. We will be using the Masonic Hall on So. Meadow Rd. Plymouth. The Parent Board is a small group of wonderful women who give freely of their time to help us provide fun events and activities for the children. We’d love more members and know the children love the special events they are planning. Our next meeting is 1/31 @6:30 pm. The children will be bringing home an invitation for a “special date” for the dance, so be ready. We hope that you, a grandparent, aunt, uncle or family friend will come and make this a special day for your child. We will post a sign up sheet and you may include as many people as you like. We will be asking for a dessert from each family and any raffle items that you may wish to contribute. More information will follow.
Thank you to all who expressed sympathy to Lynne and her family on the loss of her dad. She appreciated all your kindness and cards.
Remember to register your email address on Cranberrycrossing.com to receive snow closings, newsletters and parent board information. The parent board would like your email addresses also to send you news of the events they are working on and unless you object, I will provide them with the ones I have on file.
Please be sure your child has snow pants, boots and mittens every day. They love to get out in the snow and so do our teachers.
Referrals: Your referrals are what keeps us busy and can put some extra cash in your pockets. All new comers that you send us, who register for childcare, will award you a $50.00 credit which will be applied to your tuition.
Remember to use a thermos for your child’s warm lunch; we cannot heat up several meals coming from their lunch boxes. Tax copies available with a 24 hr. notice.
