December 2004 Newsletter
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah & Happy New Year to you and yours.
Thank you for your generous donations to the 2 families from the MPG Christmas program. A member of our parent board will be bringing the items to the newspaper today for delivery to the families. The parent board has also prepared gift bags for your children to receive from Santa on 12/15 or 12/16. We have had 2 kind Santa’s agree o donate their time to us and look forward to the appearance next week.
Please note our Winter Wonderland Show and silent auction, also sponsored by our parent board, will be held on Saturday, 1/8/05 the original notice had the wrong date. Please use the back page of the form to make a donation to either the child’s or adult raffle/auction. All proceeds will be spent on our sweetheart dance, family fun day and towards our annual field trip for the children. We hope that you’ll join us at a meeting. Please see Lynne for more information.<.p>
Tax information. Please allow at least a 24 hour notice for the office to prepare you a year end tally sheet for childcare credits on your taxes. The cost is $1.00. Any parent choosing to make a lump sum payment on tuition before the end of the school year will receive tax credit for the entire amount for year end. Remember you may earn up $50.00 in credit for referring a new family to us. The credit will be applied upon receipt of a signed contract from the new parent. We always appreciate your support and confidence.
Please send in a full set of winter clothing for indoors and outside. We try to go out every day and want everyone to be able to participate in outdoor play.
The last day of preschool is 12/17/04 (9-12 classes only). Class resumes 1/3/05. Daycare will continue until the end of the year with the exception of 12/24/04 when we are closed. Snow closings will be posted on our website – so please log on to Cranberrycrossing.com and register your email or pager for up to date information. We will also attempt to air the announcement on WATD 94.5, but may not get through to them. If you call the center and there is either a message regarding closing or no answer by 6:45 AM, it safe to say we are closed. This happens very infrequently so let’s hope for a mild winter.
