Our Summer programs officially begin on Monday 6/16. There is a half day of public school at the EKW and then schools out for the summer! We will be changing some classrooms to accommodate the groups this summer and have planned a fun filled summer with water fun, our animal curriculum and learning. Our staff is ready to enjoy the summer with your children. Be sure to send in a swim suit, towel and complete change of clothing. Sunscreen your child in the AM and we will reapply in the PM.

Also, we would prefer not to have to heat up lunches, so send in a lunch that your child can open and eat. Please use ice-packs for their drinks and perishables.

If you will be leaving us, have a happy and safe summer. Be sure you have re-registered for the fall so your child's space will be secure. While working with your pre-kindergarten child this summer:

Please have them:

1. Learn to recognize their name with only the 1st letter capitalized and the remainder in lower case.
   2. Please have a few picnics where your child has to unpack their lunch from a lunch box and handle opening, eating and throwing away their trash independently.
   3. Please have children practice holding their crayons and pencils correctly.

Our St Jude's bike a thong raised over $1500.00. Thank you so much for your generosity. We will be announced on Noggin sometime this summer for our participation.

Remember your referrals earn you $25.00 towards your tuition for every family who registers. Your kind words are our best advertising.

All children who turn 4 by June 1 will be moving upstairs as of June 16th Their cubby, file and rest things will be moved up by that date. Many of you attended Robin and Lynne's meeting and are more familiar with that classroom now. The remaining children turning 4 by Sept. 1 will move upstairs by Sept. 1.

Some of our older infants are now ready to move to the toddler room and have been visiting. Our “3 amigos” (Matt, Gavin and James) from the toddler room are almost ready to move to the 3 year old class and are very excited. They will continue to visit until they are completely ready. Please see Bobbi, Lynne or your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

Our new rates are set for September and we are trying to be very conservative and have only increased tuitions $5.00 per space. See Bobbi or Lynne regarding tuition questions or problems.
